Your Battery Won't Charge

There's nothing more frustrating than a battery that refuses to charge. Before you panic, check the simple things. Ensure the charger is properly plugged into both the wall and the bike's charging port. Look for damage to the charging cable or port itself. Sometimes, the issue can be a tripped circuit breaker in your home.

The Motor Won't Engage

If your motor isn't providing that signature boost, start by checking the basics. Make sure your battery is fully charged and securely connected to the frame. Inspect the pedal-assist sensor, usually located near the crank, to ensure it's clean and aligned correctly. Also, check your display settings to confirm the assist level isn't set to zero.

Your Brakes Are Squeaking

Loud, squeaky brakes are not only annoying but can also be a safety concern. This is often caused by dirt or oil on the brake pads or rotor. Start by cleaning the rotor with isopropyl alcohol and a clean rag. If the noise persists, your brake pads may be contaminated or worn out and need to be replaced.

You Have a Flat Tire

A flat tire is one of the most common problems for any cyclist. To fix it, you'll need a tire lever, a patch kit or new tube, and a pump. Carefully remove the tire, locate the puncture in the tube, and either apply a patch or replace the tube entirely before reinflating the tire to the recommended PSI.
